BLAST Results In A Map- BLAST Results In A Map

Project history

We began this project on my laboratory trying to find new alternative splicing sites on ORESTES sequences generated by the FlyEST project. Such thing turn out to be very complex, so we decide just put BLASTs in a graphical way. What we saw is that this graphical output was very helpfull cause insted use just one sequence database from BLAST, we could cross over more databases and see if our sequences were diferent from the sequences in public databases.
We presented one poster about BRIAM on the Brazilian International Geome Conference, you can download a copy for MS PowerPoint or StarOffice 5.2, in that time BRIAM wasn't named BRIAM yet.

Now we decided continue the project with one more seriously approach, so BRIAM was born.
